We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager who thrives at building and maintaining strong customer relationships to both upsell and maintain the existing business. You will inherit 60 or more of our top customer accounts within the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industry. You will work closely with our VP of Sales to ensure these accounts continue to do business with us for years to come. You will be measured on a new annual recurring revenue (ARR) as well as renewals quota. This book of business will continue to grow as we expand our footprint within this multi billion dollar landscape!

What You'll Do:
  • Up-sell and uncover new revenue opportunities and pursue those opportunities to closure
  • Engage with multiple contacts via telephone, email, web and in-person meetings to educate and drive them through the renewals and sales process
  • Define sales strategies working collaboratively with sales team and management
  • Manage all aspects of the close process
  • Build and execute a sales plan to achieve renewal and new revenue targets on a quarterly basis
  • Manage and document sales pipeline including forecasts, prospect details, current opportunities, and future planned activities
  • Own the overall Customer relationship; ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and renewal
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship with our Customers to drive strategic value
  • Manage customer escalations and advocate for the customers when necessary within TraceLink to get the best end result

What You Bring:
  • 3+ years renewals management/sales experience within a SaaS environment
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Experience selling into one of the following areas highly beneficial: Pharma/Life Sciences, Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain
  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of the TraceLink team
  • Demonstrated understanding of and success in the sales life-cycle: prospecting, qualifying, overcoming objections and closing sales
  • Ability to engage in high level business conversations with C and VP level executives
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, challenging and dynamic startup environment
